I purchased THCv gummies mostly for energy and appetite control. After using them for four or five days now, I would say that they don't feel very strong to me (I had to take two in the morning and one in the late afternoon). However, they do seem to provide a bit of energy and I do feel full with less food. But it's so subtle that I don't know if it's a placebo effect or not. It seems to work better if I take a CBD full spectrum gummy in the afternoon also. I'm going to finish the bottle and see what the effects are over a month's time.

Common Questions

THCV Products - A Better You Awaits

THCV products are the perfect addition to any dietary regime! This rare cannabinoid has baffled researchers with its beneficial properties since its discovery.

What Is THCV?

Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THCV, is a naturally occurring compound found in cannabis with unique benefits and effects. Unlike THC and CBD, THCV is primarily found in African sativa. The cannabis community has been baffled by this fascinating compound since its discovery and is still being studied in order to discover its potential.

While THCV and THC have similar molecular structures—only two carbon atoms separate them—THCV isn't as psychoactive as THC. THC is highly psychoactive, but THCV is estimated to be about 25% as potent, meaning its psychoactive effects are so mild they're almost nonexistent. Outside of molecular structure, THC and THCV aren't too similar.

It is actually interesting to note how THCV differs from psychoactive cannabinoids containing THC when it comes to appetite suppressing properties. THC stimulates appetite, which leads to food cravings, whereas THCV suppresses appetite.

According to some reports, THCV has the following properties:

  • Appetite suppressant
  • Increasing satiety
  • Semi-psychoactive
  • Metabolism regulation
  • Anxiety management

Do THCV Products Help You Lose Weight?

Since it suppresses appetite, regulates metabolism, and increases satiety, THCV has a reputation as a weight loss agent.

THCV is known as "diet weed" because it blocks the CB1 receptor, which is known to stimulate the appetite. Users report feeling alert and free of cravings when using THCV products.

In a weight loss journey, THCV can be an invaluable tool, but it alone cannot guarantee health and moderation. THCV will help you lose weight by suppressing your cravings, but regular exercise and a healthy diet are the only way to truly stay in shape.

At CBD Mall, we've got it all to meet your THCV needs. Our collection of THCV products include easy, breezy THCV edibles, including delicious THCV gummies and convenient THCV capsules

THCV Products vs. Other Cannabinoids

Our THCV product line stands out in a sea of other cannabinoids, but how does it differ from compounds like CBD, delta 8, and THCO

CBD

THCV and CBD products are similar in that they're both used as supplements for health and wellness. They're both good for managing anxiety as well.

THCV contains psychoactive properties, but it won't get you "high" unless you ingest it in excessive amounts. In essence, ingesting THCV in a normal amount will give you the clear-mindedness of CBD.

The properties of CBD include:

  • Stress management
  • Anxiety management
  • Pain management
  • Improved sleep

Delta 8

THCV and delta 8 products both help manage anxiety in different ways. However, delta 8 has a completely different effect on appetite than THCV. Rather than suppress appetite, delta 8 stimulates it—in other words, you'll get a big buzz and a lot of munchies when you take delta 8.

Some of delta 8's properties include:

  • Relaxation
  • Anxiety management
  • Feelings of euphoria
  • Appetite stimulation
  • Better sleep
  • Mild to moderate psychoactive experience

HHC

As with delta 8, HHC products stimulate appetite while THCV suppresses it. Additionally, HHC has a slightly stronger psychoactive potency than delta 8.

Some effects of HHC include:

  • Pain management
  • Relaxation
  • Appetite stimulation
  • Moderate high

THCO

THCO and THCV are our two most different cannabinoids. Not sharing any major properties with THCV, THCO products contain intense potency and the capacity to induce psychedelic hallucinations. Naturally, THCO is an appetite stimulant, meaning it makes you hungry, unlike THCV.

THCO's potency might be what makes it a worthwhile cannabinoid, but it also has other benefits, including:

  • Pain management
  • Relaxation
  • Appetite stimulation
  • Psychedelic effects

Are THCV Products Safe?

Absolutely!

Research suggests that THCV has a similar safety profile to other cannabinoids, and no major side effects have been reported in users of THCV.

To ensure safety when consuming cannabinoids, you must trust the source. All hemp-derived products, including THCV, can be consumed as long as they are sourced from a reputable source.

Independent manufacturers set their own quality and safety standards for hemp-derived cannabinoids because the FDA does not monitor or regulate the distribution. In order to have a positive and safe cannabinoid experience, it is crucial to find a trusted, responsible distributor.

CBD Mall takes this responsibility very seriously. All of our products are made with safety, quality, and purity in mind; then third-party lab tested to ensure they meet our own rigorous standards. For your peace of mind and accountability, we make the lab results transparently available on our website.

When you buy THCV from CBD Mall, you are guaranteed safety and satisfaction!

Are THCV Products Legal?

In 2018, the Farm Bill legalized hemp and all of its derivatives and compounds. This means that any compound derived from hemp, including THCV, is currently legal in the United States.

That being said, state laws may vary, although a vast majority of states agree with the federal consensus regarding hemp products. At this time, THCV is fully legal in 37 states and illegal in 13 states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, New York, Rhode Island, Utah, and Vermont.
