CBD Oils 

Many of our CBD oil products include a dropper, which helps administer your dose. We recommend that you take reasonable precautions in keeping the dropper clean to avoid allowing any bacteria to infect the dropper. Don’t let the dropper touch your mouth when placing CBD oil under your tongue, and don’t let it mix with any food or drink either.

When you take a CBD oil, your taking pure CBD. You may try full-spectrum CBD oil, which includes all of the other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids the hemp plant has to offer, but for all intents and purposes, you're still taking CBD. On the other hand, a CBD tincture is a potent formula that mixes CBD with different carrier oils like hemp oil. Together they help your body naturally absorb the CBD.
 

Like CBD Oil, Hemp Oil is produced from the hemp plant. However, it is extracted a bit differently. Hemp Oil comes from the leaves, buds, and stem of the hemp plant. It can still retain many of the phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found naturally in hemp, just like CBD oil. Don’t confuse hemp oil with hemp seed oil, which is produced by pushing the oil out of the seeds.

Cannabis is the genus name for both marijuana and hemp, and the term itself is not necessarily interchangeable with marijuana. In fact, almost all CBD oil today comes from industrial hemp, which contains negligible amounts of THC, the cannabinoid responsible for causing a high. Most strains of agricultural hemp are rich in CBD while only having less than 0.03 percent THC, making them perfect for extracting CBD oil.

How you dose your CBD oil can depend on several different things, including your age, weight, height, and CBD oil tolerance. We typically recommend the low and slow method. Start with the lowest dose possible, and slowly work your way up until you find an amount that works for you. Typically, we recommend that new users try products within the 250mg to 500mg range while experienced users may want something more, which is why we have products ranging anywhere from 750mg up to 3500mg and beyond. Remember, you can always take more, but you can never take less.

A good rule to follow when determining an optimal CBD dose is to take anywhere from 1-6mg for every 10 pounds of body weight based upon the consumer’s needs. For example, a great starting dose for someone who weighs 150lbs would be somewhere between 15-25mg, and a 200lbs patient would range from 20 to 33mg.
 

Because our CBD oil is all-natural and comes from nature, it can sometimes vary slightly in color from batch to batch. At Diamond CBD, we never add any dyes or anything unnatural to our CBD oil to change the color. We keep all of our products natural the way nature intended them to be.
 

While here at Diamond CBD we use supercritical CO2 extraction, as it produces the cleanest and purest CBD oil possible, there are other ways to extract CBD from the hemp plant. They include:

All of this depends on how big the bottle of CBD oil is and the strength of the CBD, but on average, we use .5ml as a serving size.
